Fit and display

Plan the wall before it arrives

Measure the wall and planned frame before ordering. The artist recommends working with a local frame shop for a piece this large; the high-quality paper can also be displayed without glass, similar to a canvas, or with a suitable hanger frame.

Measure for

Plan for the full 52 x 72 inch artwork plus any mat or frame width. Choose mounting hardware for the finished framed weight and your specific wall construction.

Redwood Tree, Tree Ring Print, California Coast, Wood Slice Wall Art by lintonart - product image 2 for Resin Society

Time, pressed into paper

A giant redwood’s years gather in soft grayscale—quiet, resolute, and human in scale.

From the forest floor

A life measured in rings

Not a photograph

Blank walls can feel like a pause with nothing to say. The Hand-Pressed Giant Redwood Tree Ring Print brings a lived history forward, its rings mapping seasons and weather with unhurried detail. At 52 × 72 inches, the piece claims space with calm certainty, turning a room into a place to linger.

Scale with hush

Erik Linton presses paper directly to a real, previously fallen redwood cross-section, so each mark arrives from touch, not a screen. The result is an original, signed work that carries the texture of the tree itself—subtle ridges, scars, and growth. Unframed and rolled for delivery, it meets the home as a raw, generous surface ready for your context.

For the room that hosts

Someone building a warm, grounded gathering space who wants a singular, signed print with presence.

Where it lives

Hang the 52 × 72-inch print over a console or fireplace to anchor the room and invite close conversation around its mapped rings.

The artist

Meet Erik Linton

Erik Linton uses traditional printmaking methods to press paper directly onto real wood cuts. For this work, a previously fallen redwood found near Eureka becomes the printing block, preserving the tree's rings and weathered surface as a signed piece of art.
