Blue energy, held

Twelve square studies with salt-air blues, mineral greens, and quick gestures that wake a quiet surface.

Collected in twelves

Mineral 12 Set I

A chorus, not a solo

Shelves and consoles often read as safe and flat. Mineral 12 Set I adds a decisive note—movement, color, and contrast that make the surface feel chosen, not filled. The compact squares slip into entry moments, stack as a grid, or lean along a tabletop to break up predictable lines.

From filler to finish

Rooms come together in the last ten percent. This set brings that last layer: lively strokes of blue and green, flashes of yellow, and painterly texture that ties wood, linen, glass, and neutrals into one conversation. The eye lands, lingers, and the space feels intentional.

For the curator at home

Someone refining shelves, consoles, or an entry and wanting one graphic element with color and attitude to pull the scene together.

Put it to work

Hang the twelve as a tight grid above a console or mix individual squares between books and objects to punctuate a long shelf.

About John Beard Collection

Whispers of the sea in coastal-inspired art

Raised in the Florida Keys, John Beard learned to see by the sea: swimming, sailing and building island forts informed a lifelong visual vocabulary. Family painting sessions and artist workshops kindled a practice that now favors coastal moods—abstract and representational treatments of shoreline vistas, towns and village scenes. For 17 years he also lived abroad doing humanitarian work across 35 nations, a chapter that deepened the quiet, human sensibility behind pieces such as Whispers on the Beach. Available as printed and framed canvas wall art, Beard’s work brings twilight tones and shoreline calm to walls and everyday rooms. Collectors choose his canvases when they want art that reads as memory and place rather than mere decoration.
