Mid-Century Set by John Beard Collection - product image 4 for Resin Society — Two notes, one conversation

Mid-Century Set hangs like a pause in the day—swept arcs, earthen browns, and quick cobalt tracing the edge of a room’s calm.

In the round of daily living

Where shelves meet a point of view

Confident shape, lived-in color

Rooms collect objects faster than intention. Mid-Century Set brings a single, assertive gesture that organizes the eye—curved strokes, layered neutrals, and a ribbon of blue that links left to right. It turns a plain console or quiet niche into a destination without crowding the surface.

The edit that finishes the room

When one detail carries enough movement, everything around it can relax. The pair’s mirrored swirls and warm, mid-century palette connect wood, linen, glass, and pale walls so the scene reads considered rather than safe. It’s the difference between filling space and composing it.

For the collected home

Someone who favors fewer, stronger pieces and wants a single artwork to pull together shelves, consoles, or an entry.

Place with intention

Hang the two squares as a stacked pair over a console or sideboard to anchor the surface and guide the styling around it.

Maker Profile

John Beard Collection

Raised in the Florida Keys, John Beard learned to see by the sea: swimming, sailing and building island forts informed a lifelong visual vocabulary. Family painting sessions and artist workshops kindled a practice that now favors coastal moods—abstract and representational treatments of shoreline vistas, towns and village scenes. For 17 years he also lived abroad doing humanitarian work across 35 nations, a chapter that deepened the quiet, human sensibility behind pieces such as Whispers on the Beach. Available as printed and framed canvas wall art, Beard’s work brings twilight tones and shoreline calm to walls and everyday rooms. Collectors choose his canvases when they want art that reads as memory and place rather than mere decoration.
