Gallery wrap canvas painting titled 'Seventy' depicting a coastal landscape with muted blues and sandy hues.

A quiet turn in the light

Seventy lingers on a sun-warmed path—ochre walls, red rooflines, and trees breathing a soft afternoon. The kind of scene you remember with your hands, not just your eyes.

At the edge of town

Where the path bends home

Small, human, seen

Rooms can feel overdesigned and underfelt—surfaces polished, yet missing a pulse. Seventy brings back the hand of the artist: brisk brushwork, sky-split light, and the hush of a lived place. It anchors conversation without shouting, letting color and memory do the slow work of welcome.

Color that settles in

Art changes how a room breathes. Seventy folds warmth into cool corners and gives mornings a direction to wander. You don’t just look at it—you step onto the path and carry that stillness into the day.

For those who collect moments

Someone building a home around lived texture and original work—one piece at a time.

Place and live with it

Hang Seventy where you pass often—an entry, over a writing desk, or by the dining table—so the shifting daylight keeps finding new color in it.

About John Beard Collection

John Beard Collection’s coastal artistic journey

Raised in the Florida Keys, John Beard learned to see by the sea: swimming, sailing and building island forts informed a lifelong visual vocabulary. Family painting sessions and artist workshops kindled a practice that now favors coastal moods—abstract and representational treatments of shoreline vistas, towns and village scenes. For 17 years he also lived abroad doing humanitarian work across 35 nations, a chapter that deepened the quiet, human sensibility behind pieces such as Whispers on the Beach. Available as printed and framed canvas wall art, Beard’s work brings twilight tones and shoreline calm to walls and everyday rooms. Collectors choose his canvases when they want art that reads as memory and place rather than mere decoration.
