Maple Burl River Table – Ready to Ship
There’s something about burl wood that feels alive. The swirling grain, the unexpected voids, the way light dances across it—it tells its own story before you even touch it. This river table takes a piece of maple burl, already rare and full of character, and gives it a second life with a clear epoxy river running through the center. The resin doesn’t just fill space—it amplifies the movement of the wood, making it look like the grain is flowing right along with it.
The top sits on a modern black steel base, built for strength but designed with clean lines so the wood remains the focus. Together, the natural and the industrial balance each other out—organic edges meeting sharp geometry.
Every detail was chosen with longevity in mind. Sasquatch Tables uses sustainably sourced hardwoods, often salvaged from trees lost to storms or natural die-off, and plant-based resins that are safer for both the craftsman and the environment. The table has been sanded, sealed, and finished to a satin sheen—smooth to the touch, but not overly glossy, so you see the depth of the burl and resin without distraction.
Dimensions: 7.5 ft (90") L × 3 ft (36") W × 30" H
Materials: Maple burl slab, crystal-clear epoxy resin, black steel base
Finish: Satin protective finish for durability and everyday use
Sustainability: Salvaged hardwood + eco-conscious resin choices
Behind the build are Grady and Emily Norton, the husband-and-wife team behind Sasquatch Tables. What began as late nights experimenting with resin in their living room turned into a full-time workshop that has now produced more than 500 custom tables. Grady left his ICU career during the pandemic to follow this craft, and the passion shows—you can see it in the way the resin is poured, the way the steel legs are joined, and the way the finished surface feels like it’s built to outlast trends.
This table is finished, in stock, and ready to ship—no waiting list, no production time. Just a statement piece, already complete, waiting to ground your dining room, office, or studio with the kind of presence only natural wood and resin can bring.

Care & Maintenance
To keep your piece looking its best:
- Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water.
- Never soak or put it in the dishwasher.
- Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners that could damage the resin or wood finish.
- For wood-based pieces like boards and knife handles, apply a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner every few months to keep the wood rich and prevent drying.
- For resin or metal trays, just wipe clean with a soft cloth—no need to oil.
- Keep all pieces away from direct heat or prolonged moisture exposure.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
Will I receive the design that is pictured?
No, not always. Each piece is handmade from real wood and resin, so the grain, tones, and resin patterns will vary. For most products, the photos show the style you’ll receive — not the exact item. However, if a product is a finished, one-of-a-kind piece, the description above will clearly state “Item pictured is the one you’ll receive.”
How is my order protected?
Your order is protected by our Made Right Guarantee, which ensures your order arrives in perfect condition—free of damage. Natural variations like small nicks or markings in the wood are part of its character, but if anything unexpected happens during shipping, we’ll make it right.
How does delivery work?
We ship your order using trusted carriers. It’ll be delivered to your front door, and you’ll get tracking info. Bigger orders might need a signature, but we’ll let you know first.
Do you accept large or commercial orders?
Yes, we welcome large and commercial orders! We’re happy to work on interior design projects, including but not limited to new models, restaurants, hotels, and more. Reach out to discuss your needs!
Can I return my order?
Due to the custom, handmade nature of our designs, we do not accept returns on most items. However, if your order arrives damaged or something feels off, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery — we’ll take a look and work with you to make it right.
Select pieces and partner brands may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If you're unsure, just reach out — we’re always happy to help.
Is assembly required?
Smaller items like charcuterie boards, resin artwork, and side tables arrive fully assembled. Larger pieces may require basic assembly—typically just attaching the legs to the tabletop. If you have questions about your specific design, feel free to reach out and we’ll get back to you quickly.
