Sunlit geometry, quiet joy

Blocks of seaside color tilt and meet—lemon, sea-glass, blush—catching the day like a window left open.

A room remembers summer

Summer Light II by Holly McWhorter

Color, cut to the quick

Bare walls can feel provisional, as if a room is still deciding who lives there. Summer Light II delivers a clear focal point with confident scale and crisp color, so the space reads intentional from the first glance. Its vertical composition sits easily in entryways and along slim walls where conversation starts. Three size options let you match the rhythm of the room without compromise.

What it brings

Art sets the mood faster than furniture. The clean geometry and coastal palette steady a space while keeping it bright and open. In daily passing—coffee in hand, keys at the door—the piece becomes a small ritual of color that makes the room feel finished and lived‑in.

For those who edit with restraint

Someone shaping a calm, modern room who wants a finished wall accent from Holly McWhorter without commissioning work.

Where it lands

Hang in an entryway or dining nook to anchor the wall with a clear, coastal focal point in the listed size that fits your space.

About Holly McWhorter

Holly McWhorter is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and writer whose abstract paintings and prints probe how color and form interact to evoke feeling. A native of Philadelphia, a longtime New York resident and now based in Copenhagen, she treats creative practice as a way to explore the world and make a positive impact. Primarily self‑taught as an artist, Holly also holds graduate degrees in interior architecture from Parsons and material culture from SUNY, plus a BA in classical music and philosophy from Spelman College. Her work’s thoughtful compositional sense and nuanced palettes translate naturally into interiors—pieces that invite close looking while setting the tone of a room.
