A room’s first sentence

DAY TRAIN arrives

Graphic calm, coastal pull

Bare walls can make even a well-furnished space feel unfinished. DAY TRAIN gathers the room with bold geometry and tide-bright color, creating a single, confident focal point. Scaled options—16" x 20", 24" x 32", and 28" x 40"—let you tune the statement to the entry, hallway, or living area.

Set the tone

When art is intentional in scale, color, and subject, the room reads as considered rather than improvised. DAY TRAIN’s coastal palette and precise shapes cue energy without noise, guiding how the space is used—from morning routines to evening conversations.

For the collector at home

Someone seeking a finished wall accent that brings coastal color and graphic clarity to entries and gathering rooms.

Where it lives

Hang DAY TRAIN in an entryway or bright living space where its vertical composition can catch natural light and anchor the room.

About Holly McWhorter

Artist and abstract interpreter of emotion

Holly McWhorter is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and writer whose abstract paintings and prints probe how color and form interact to evoke feeling. A native of Philadelphia, a longtime New York resident and now based in Copenhagen, she treats creative practice as a way to explore the world and make a positive impact. Primarily self‑taught as an artist, Holly also holds graduate degrees in interior architecture from Parsons and material culture from SUNY, plus a BA in classical music and philosophy from Spelman College. Her work’s thoughtful compositional sense and nuanced palettes translate naturally into interiors—pieces that invite close looking while setting the tone of a room.
