Watching This Old House and New Yankee Workshop sparked a decades-long practice of experimenting with rough-cut lumber, learning from mistakes, and ultimately building his own house. Today the workshop in Chattanooga, TN turns that experience into display-worthy, functional wood pieces—charcuterie and serving boards, keepsake boxes and small woodcraft—often featuring natural grain, inlaid details, engraved motifs and resin accents. The maker’s craft of listening—asking many questions before picking up a tool—means each commission is tailored to how you plan to use and show the piece.
