Halimaris pendant necklace with dark textured exterior and warm golden core on black cord

Quiet strength, worn close

Halimaris holds a glow at its center—dark shoreline outside, warm ember within—suspended on a simple black cord with a stainless steel ring.

A relic, reimagined

Warm heart, weathered edge

Nature, edited to its essence

Most necklaces chase shimmer, then disappear into the noise. Halimaris does the opposite: a slender, oblong form with a dark, textured exterior and a smooth, golden recess that feels quietly human. It sits with certainty—modern lines tempered by an ancient mood—drawing the eye without raising its voice.

The calm pull

Jewelry that carries depth changes how a day moves. Halimaris reads like something found after a storm: preserved algae with subtle irregularities, a polished interior that suggests touch and time. In a studio, at the table, or on a late walk home, it anchors the moment and leaves space around it.

For the considered dresser

Someone who favors tactile pieces over sparkle and wants a necklace with organic character and minimalist presence.

How it lives with you

Slip it over a knit or a plain tee and let the warm inner glow frame the neckline, day to night.

About the Maker

Versiliy, California Kelp Experimenter

Versiliy is a Los Angeles–based artist and kelp material experimenter who makes one-of-a-kind, handmade artifacts for body and space from California kelp and wild ocean algae. After three years of hands-on experimentation they first released work publicly in October 2025 with pendants at the California Seaweed Festival. Each piece is shaped by hand with custom-built tools and experimental treatments developed specifically for kelp, yielding surfaces and forms that feel new to the touch. Buyers should care because these are wearable and display objects that offer a direct, tactile connection to the ocean—small-scale sculptures that function as jewelry and conversation pieces.
