A little swagger for the wall

Warm barnlight, quick brushwork, and a confident rooster leading the way—Struttin His Stuff brings a lived-in moment to blank space.

Gathered light

Morning on the steps

Character, not filler

Empty walls can make a finished room feel hesitant. Struttin His Stuff answers with clear subject and sun-warmed color—hens perched, a rooster mid-stride. The composition stretches wide, setting pace for a hallway, office, or guest room. It feels chosen, not just hung.

Mood it sets

Art decides the temperature of a room. The ochres and russets here read like late-morning countryside, relaxed and slightly playful. Scale options let the piece anchor a long wall or tuck into a more intimate corner. The scene invites conversation without demanding it.

Who will love it

Someone building a collected home who wants a single, story-rich piece to warm a hallway, office, guest room, bar nook, or beach-house corner.

Where it lives

Hang above a console or bench on a long wall to set a gentle, sunlit rhythm through a passageway or gathering spot.

Meet the artist

John Beard Collection story

Raised in the Florida Keys, John Beard learned to see by the sea: swimming, sailing and building island forts informed a lifelong visual vocabulary. Family painting sessions and artist workshops kindled a practice that now favors coastal moods—abstract and representational treatments of shoreline vistas, towns and village scenes. For 17 years he also lived abroad doing humanitarian work across 35 nations, a chapter that deepened the quiet, human sensibility behind pieces such as Whispers on the Beach. Available as printed and framed canvas wall art, Beard’s work brings twilight tones and shoreline calm to walls and everyday rooms. Collectors choose his canvases when they want art that reads as memory and place rather than mere decoration.

Questions about Struttin His Stuff

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes does Struttin His Stuff come in?
It’s available in 20x40, 24x48, 30x60, and 36x72.
Is this wall art suited to a hallway?
Yes—the wide format is made to carry a hallway or long wall with a single, continuous scene.
Will the colors work in a neutral room?
The palette leans warm—ochre, rust, cream, and soft browns—so it adds warmth to neutrals without overpowering them.
Does the subject feel playful or more collected?
Both—the barnyard moment is lighthearted, while the composed brushwork and tones create a collected gallery-wall mood.
Where in the home does it make the most impact?
Try a blank hallway, office, guest room, bar area, or a sunny beach-house corner where its horizontal sweep can breathe.
